PluggedIn offers free to consumer streaming of the highest quality music videos available anywhere on the Web. We feature over 10,000 HD and broadcast quality music videos from Universal Music Group, EMI Music, Sony BMG, and independent record labels. Our website offers more than one million Artist Pages, and is powered by an innovative new media player that supports high-definition full-screen video playback with no buffering and DVD-like controls, a multimedia search engine and fan-centric community features.

Who are the team members involved?
The company was founded and is managed as a rare partnership between proven Internet entrepreneurs and successful music industry executives. The company's team includes Brett O'Brien, founder of Xdrive, which was sold to America Online (AOL) in 2005; Kevin Welk, CEO of Vanguard and Sugar Hill Records; Jeff Somers, formerly with Amazon and Zillow; JJ Aguhob, previously with Xdrive, AOL and an early team member at MySpace; John Gaa, previously with Xdrive and Sony; and Nicola Marzolla, from Yahoo Music.
Who are your investors?
PluggedIn investors include Overbrook Entertainment - an innovative entertainment and artist management company whose principals include Will Smith, James Lassiter, and Ken Stovitz - and investment capital from its principals.
Who are your content partners?
PluggedIn licenses HD and broadcast quality music videos from Universal Music Group, EMI, and Sony BMG. In addition, we scour the Web to bring our music fans the best content and news on the artists they love from sources across the internet. No other music website combines high-quality licensed content with such in-depth Web content.
How does PluggedIn make money?
PluggedIn is a free to consumer website that derives the majority of its revenue from advertising and sponsorships. We also have affiliate relationships with companies such as Amazon, Apple, EBay, and Hot Topic, so that fans can purchase CDs, downloads and other merchandise from us.
Where does the content on your Artist Pages come from?
We scour the Web to bring our music fans the content they want on the artists they want. This includes bios, blog posts, news, Wikipedia information, concert dates, merchandise links, photos and video content from sites across the Web.
How many videos do you have?
We have initially licensed more than 10,000 music videos, from Universal Music Group, EMI Music, Sony BMG, and a small group of well-known independent record labels, including Vanguard Records and Sugar Hill Records.
How many Artist Pages do you have?
We have more than one million artist pages, including pages for Green Day, REM, Coldplay, Kanye West, Radiohead, U2, Jack Johnson, Korn, Eminem, Gwen Stefani, Nine Inch Nails, and many, many more.
Will you be adding more content?
We will constantly add new content to PluggedIn, including new videos, concerts, interviews, and behind the scenes footage. When a fan adds an artist as a favorite on our website, we will let them know when there is new content available for them. At present, we are working directly with the music labels to acquire content, and we will have features shortly that allow artists to upload directly to PluggedIn.
